Hmm... I'm probably going to have to say Free! S2E12 is like... one of my absolutely favs. Season 2 was kinda on & off, but that episode??? Harurinralia???? That was the absolute best episode and it just gives me all kinds of giddy feelings <3

Alright so like, my absolute otp in Free! is rinharu, and this episode is just... so rinharu-centric. Haru's depressed from the pressure he feels to decide on his future, and Rin takes him to Australia (where he had previously gone to school to train and improve his swimming so he can reach his goal of going to the olympics).

And they fly over and Rin drags Haru sightseeing all over the place, including to the beach he used to look out into when he was feeling stressed as a kid bc he knew his friends were just across the water.

Then they go visit the couple Rin stayed with when he was studying abroad, and they're so nice and sweet, and the wife, Lori, dishes all the dirt on how much Rin had talked about Haru during his stay. ((No tho it's super funny bc they know sO much about him like oh we haven't seen Rin in yEARS and we've never met you, but iirc you favorite food is mackerel, right?)) aND THEN MY FAVORITE LINE!!!

lIKE dfghjkl just imagine little 12 y/o Rin hundreds of miles from his friends and family babbling on about his ~~crush~~ rival's clear blue eyes sdfghjkl

Then they go??? To their hotel room???? And had somehow bOOKED THE HONEYMOON SUITE??? With only one bed and there were "no more vacancies" & they spent the night laying side by side reminiscing on how they met with Rin confessing how much he's admired Haru all these years

And as the grand finale, Rin takes Haru to the pool where the Australian olympic swim team practices, and they actually get to swim next to olympic swimmers!!! And Haru finally finds his dream and decides he wants to swim on the world stage and it's!!!!!!!!! Aaaaaa!!!!!!!!! I love thi episode!!!!!!!!!!! <3333333333333333333
