Strange Habits That Stuck
Dec. 29th, 2018 01:47 amWhen I was in a high school, a teacher I hated was telling off another student. He said, "I'm sorry," to which she replied, "You're not sorry!" Determined to never let her get that kind of advantage over me, I decided if I ever had to apologize to her, I would say "I apologize" instead. After all, you can't say "You're not.... apologize???" This literally never actually became relevant... ever. Yet, I still tend to say "I apologize" instead of "I'm sorry."

- Oh my god, I about had a heart attack. I closed the tab I've been logging my thoughts for my playthrough of Ren's Route in DMMD. If I'd lost it, that'd've been it lol. I don't think I'd have the energy to try and recreate it... Luckily ctrl+t reopened the tab with all the text still there. Thank goooodddddd...
- I still can't believe tomorrow's Christmas. What.............. what?? ,,, weird....
- I finished knitting the gloves for my Aunt's christmas present, tho I couldn't figure out how to block them. I don't rly like how they came out, but hopefully she'll still like them... ((I still really wish I could've figured out how to do those stupid wristbands. I think they would've been rly cute if I could just understand the pattern hhh...))
- I found this follow-along youtube video of wrist/hand stretches that I really, really like! My wrists have been hurting constantly for the past month or so, so I haven't been drawing or knitting much... I followed the video every day before working on my aunt's present, and I haven't had any major issues so... nice?
- "I'm so glad chromebooks have native Linux support so I can still download like... programs and stuff!" *tries to use Linux* "whY is everything so COMPLICATED ;;;;;;;;;;;"
- I need to stop treating this like a transitional period of my life... I feel like I'm spending every day just waiting for things to change and return to normal instead of like... living my life or whatever. I hate taking initiative tho........
Knitting Problems

Every so often between looping Rollin With The Flow, I'll toss in a listen to Happier - Bastille & Mashello. I like it a lot, but maaaan I can't listen to it too much because every time I do, it makes me think about the people I care about in my life and it's like.... I do want them to happier. I start thinking about whether or not I'm doing what I should to make them happier even if it might be hard for me, and I often feel like I'm not. *sighs*

Journal Style

I've spent the past hour+ messing with my journal styling trying to get it to look somewhat decent and finally, I'm happy. I modeled a lot of it off of my Tumblr theme and spent foreeeever trying to fix my links so they would be at least somewhat readable on both the black headers and within the white posts (hint: I had to use embedded CSS to pull it off -.-;;). I also had to be a little creative to get a pillowfort link in my sidebar and make it match the other site links... tho the more I look at it the less I like it... I might just snag all the website favicons and have them in a row. I don't rly need my account name listed lol
Yeah, tho. I'm happy ^^ The only part reeeally not up to par is the header where it says my url but ehhh... That's a problem for another day. It's off the screen every time you scroll down anyway.
