questionoftheday asks: Do you prefer living in a city or a country environment? Which do you live in now?
My answer: Oh god, a city for sure. I hate being downtown, but living within like... a big city but outside of downtown is just *chef's finger kiss* quality living. At my last place in Miami, I was within walking distance of the mall, the library, a 24 hr convenience store, a McDonald's with a 24 hr lobby, and my local grocery store (also within walking distance) was open until midnight.
Also within walking distance (and I'm talking like 10 min walk here) was the train which could take me all over the place for $2.50 (...okay, expensive, but I usually used my mom's free pass lol) including to downtown where I went to school and could go to museums and the main library and stuff. And btw that train came every 5 minutes during the day on weekdays and maybe every half hour on weekends.
Right now, I'm staying in a small city in Washington where the bus that I need to reach
anything only comes once an hour and doesn't even run on Sundays.
I can't even imagine living completely in the country.
