It's that time of year!

The Snowflake Challenge is taking place again on the 1st, and I'll be participating and acting as a commenting mod (aka doing nothing more special than ooh-ing and ah-ing at everyone else's posts haha.
I've been off Dreamwidth for a fairly long time,, oof,, sorry about that y'all! Who know what became of me in 2019, but 2020 was a beast of its own, huh? So how about an update?
Well, last y'all heard of me, I was being super awkward at my new workplace right? I'm still there, and I love it lots! They actually had to let me go for about 6 months due to reduced hours because of Covid, but I was hired back as soon as they had room for me. It's been really slow, especially since indoor dining has been disallowed, but I'm super happy to be back!
I've started learning how to cross stitch, which has been a lot of fun! I jumped into a blackwork stitch-a-long (SAL), but got distracted midway through by a Hogwarts "Stitch Your Own Adventure" SAL!

I'm actually doing that one with my mom, and we started off watching the Harry Potter movies while stitching and are now listening to the audiobooks. It's been a lot of fun working on it and spending time with my mom.
I got really into Thai Dramas for a while there after a friend got me to watch The Gifted (which is super amazing 10/10 highly recommend It's on Youtube with English Subs!). The second season, The Gifted Graduation actually aired... last month? I'm really looking forward to watching it at some point haha. I also really enjoyed SOTUS. I'm such a sucker for enemies to lovers and "tough" characters actually being super, super soft aa
As many others did, I spent several hundred hours this year playing Animal Crossing New Horizons.
I picked up a bunch of really exciting games in the recent Steam and Eshop sales! I started getting into otome and really loved CollarxMalice. I also just finished Sweet Pool yesterday. It was... hmm lol. I'll say it was definitely entertaining! It did feel a little predictable at times, and a lot of stuff was conveniently never explained lmao. It was like a really gorey, religious omegaverse, though so that was interesting lmao.
I decided to hop back into the anime thing and have been taking part in the anime watching challenges on AniList! Some highlights I've seen this year: Hoshiai no Sora, Ookiku Furibatte, Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai!, Sarazanmai, Luo Xiaohei Zhan Ji, Great Pretender, Yakusoku no Neverland, and Natsume Yuujinchou. I've been trying to keep up with seasonal anime too, but that one's been tough haha!
Oh! I've also been cooking a lot!
